According to the The Washington Post the TSA has awarded a $1.2 Billion contract to Lockhead Martin to screen and hire candidates for TSA positions around the world that is currently handled by three companies. One of those companies, FPMI, houses it's call center in Arab. The center is staffed for 2 shifts 7 days a week and has several hundred employees.
There are several options at this point. Lockhead could sub contract the work back to FPMI, or continue to process the work at the Arab location under new ownership or they could move the entire operation out of the area.
