So umm I don't know about you guys but I've eaten at every place in Arab at least 100 times.  So I've made a list of food establishments I would like to see in Arab.  Anyone else have any favorites?

Chic-Fil-A
Wendy's
Krystals
Rosies (haha yeah right)
Shoney's or Quincy or Ryan's would be great (and I honestly think they would have a good crowd)
Steak-N-Shake

I crave some real Italian cuisine.  Steak'n Shake, yes.  How about an all-beef hot dog place - Chicago-style.  And what about some decent bread...crusty French or Italian, sourdough, rye.  We need a bakery.  Gosh, I'm hungry.

We need a real good dine in bbq, catfish, seafood restaurant.  Since Golden Rule went out of business, we don't have anything really other than Southern Hickory for BBQ.  Unless you want to drive to Walker's, Gannon's or Parkside.  I'd rather stay close.

Simmons Barbecue is being served at Downtown Pizza and Subs across from Foodland on the parkway.  Eat in or carry out.

Does Three Guys' Grill serve catfish?  They have coconut shrimp, for sure.

Sierra's has lobster and grilled shrimp on the menu.

Three Guys offers catfish occasionally. And coming soon to downtown Arab---- A new bakery. It will be located on Main St. in the old Throwers Shoe shoppe next door to the wicker and thatching store at the end of the street (south end ).

How about some fine Italian food, um good, or--some fresh alabama gulf coast seafood.  Crab stuffed flounder.  Southerners always go for bar-be-que and catfish.  As a matter of fact that might be something that would go over here, a food fair in the park, especially if we could serve beer and wine.  There are some audacious cooks in this area that don't own restaurants, but might do their thing if there was public participation and some kind of prize offered.
