I don't know about you guys but I'm tired of all these little signs everywhere.  Not only are they ugly but they are illegal (within 10 feet of a State Right of Way).  Does anyone know if Arab has a Sign Ordinance that has some type of punishment that will make these people pay for all these little signs everywhere.  FYI I'm not talking about Real Estate signs.  I'm talking about the homemade signs like for wrestling, boxing and I can get you in a house by the end of the day signs.

Well to me its just tacky and if there isnt a "sign ordinance" then there should be..  Although i hope you arent talking about yard sale signs.. cause honestly i have no idea what i would do on a friday morning in arab if i didnt have a yard sale to look for and well those signs guide me to my treasure..hehe   Grin   Kiss

There is a sign ordinance in Arab - enforcement is the key.  No signs are permitted in any street right-of-way, or posted on telephone poles.  Sign clutter is no different than litter thrown out on our roadways.  City employees pick up litter all the time - why can't they do the same with all the illegal signs, banners, etc. cluttering up our streets?
