Urgent Prayer Request

Shannon Griggs who works at the Junior High was getting ready for her grandfather's funeral and she passed out. The took her to Marshall North and then to Huntsville via Medflight. She appears to be bleeding from the brain stem for some unknown reason.

Please keep her and her family in your prayers.

This is Mrs. Griggs. I have been home for 3 weeks after having an ICD inserted after suffering a near-fatal arrhythmia. Against all odds, I have made a full recovery! I am currently enjoying a little R&R at home as I regain my energy and strength with each passing day. I have been blessed to have so many colleagues, students, friends and family and the multitude of prayers they uttered on my behalf. I returned to church this past Easter Sunday, and I will be returning to AJHS this fall for the 2009-2010 school year.

Glad to hear you are at home and taking it easy. Everywhere I went from Kid-N-Round to Wal-Mart I heard about you and I'm sure everyone agrees that we are glad you are doing much better.

We know the power of prayer, but it's still great to see it in action! So glad you are feeling better!
